Who has to report, and when it is due

Your first due date, and if you leave and come back
A first report has no earlier receipt to read a date from. Count 90 days from your latest arrival date. If you leave before the next appointment date and return, the count restarts from that latest arrival.

The filing window and late reports
In person, you can report from 15 days before until 7 days after the due date. The channels differ at the edges.
| Channel | When you can file |
|---|---|
| In person | 15 days before to 7 days after |
| Registered post | From 15 days before |
| Online | 15 days before, but not less than 7 days before |
A report 3 days after the due date is still inside the in-person window, so no fine is listed for it. Past the window, a late notification must be made in person, and the handbook gives a fine of THB 2,000.
The Act sets a higher ceiling: a fine up to THB 5,000 plus up to THB 200 for each day until you comply. Section 84 lets a settlement commission set the rules for compounding fines. The sources do not say which amount an officer applies once a case goes to court.
You may authorise another person to notify, except for a late report.
