A tourist extension of stay costs THB 1,900. A re-entry permit costs THB 1,000 for a single entry and THB 3,800 for multiple entries. A single-entry non-immigrant visa costs THB 2,000. The Immigration Bureau fee schedule prices each service in baht. The newest readable copy of the English fee page is from 9 August 2024, and the Thai page from 23 June 2024. The live pages block automated readers, so each figure below carries its year. The table gives the amounts a visitor meets most often.

Extension and re-entry fees

The fee for a tourist extension of stay is THB 1,900. It is the same THB 1,900 each time you extend, for a visa extension on form TM.7.

A live fee page on the Samut Prakan Immigration site, read on 14 October 2026, lists the same THB 1,900 per time.

A single re-entry permit costs THB 1,000 and a multiple one THB 3,800; the live page also gives THB 3,800 for multiple entries. The permit is filed on form TM.8 with one 4x6 cm photo, in person at the local immigration office. Leaving Thailand without a re-entry permit cancels the permitted stay.

What an online extension adds

A January 2024 notice from Chiang Mai Immigration, headed “E-Extension for tourism”, lists three service levels beside the THB 1,900 visa fee. Whether it still applies is not confirmed, so read the totals below as notice figures, current status unconfirmed.

Where the schedule comes from

The Thai fee page footnote names the regulation. The English below is a translation, not the official text.

The tourist extension handbook lists the same regulation among the related fee regulations. The regulation’s own text was not read; the amounts here come from the Bureau’s pages.

Visa fees at the immigration office

These are fees for visas issued or changed inside Thailand. The English fee page, copied on 9 August 2024, lists them. A visitor who entered visa-exempt pays none of these; the extension fee above is the one that applies.

Residence documents

The same page also lists certificate-of-residence, resident permit, Smart Visa and appeal fees. They apply to long-term residents, not tourists, so they are left out here.
